Maybe you were at the pool, or out-of-town, or missed registration and got on the Wait-List?
Don’t worry – there’s always more CoderDojo coming up! 🙂
Our next event will be on Saturday, August 29th at the Metuchen Public Library. Registration usually opens on Eventbrite about three weeks before an event.
When registration goes live we’ll post an announcement right here – please be sure to sign-up for updates!
You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter for similar updates.
The learning materials we use during our events are also available right here on blog – check out our Learning page!
We are happy to answer questions or give tips between sessions. It’s great when kids bring a project they’ve been working on to share with the group!
To learn more about CoderDojo programming clubs, please check-out the CoderDojo Foundation’s About page.
Hope to see you soon, happy coding!
Metuchen’s Junebug ArtFest launched in 2015 with its own interactive app for Android – developed and published by Metuchen High School students Nisarg Joshi and Ethan Cantor.
If those names sound familiar, it might be that you’ve also seen Nisarg and Ethan working hard as mentors at our last few CoderDojo Metuchen programming club events at the Metuchen Public Library!
From the Metuchen High School website:
MHS students Nisarg Joshi and Ethan Cantor have developed an app for Junebug, the arts festival that runs each Friday evening in June in Metuchen. Click more for a link to the app in the Google Play app store. The app is now complete and ready for downloads.
To see an online presentation of the app’s design, goto:
If you haven’t tried the app yet, we hope you’ll check it out – it’s the best way to find your way to all the artists you love to see at Metuchen’s Junebug ArtFest every Friday night in June!
Currently available for Android, and plans for an iOS version are already in the works for next year… 🙂
CoderDojo Metuchen was started in February 2015 using guidance and support materials provided by a global organization called CoderDojo Foundation. We are a community effort run by volunteers.
Here are a few links to information about the work of the CoderDojo Foundation:
We at CoderDojo Metuchen are using this guidance and support from the CoderDojo Foundation to help us organize as we get this new project running.
