CoderDojo is a global network of free, volunteer-led, independent, community based programming clubs for young people. These young people, between 7 and 17, learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and explore technology in an informal and creative environment. In addition to learning to code attendees meet like minded people and get to show off what they’ve been working on.

The Metuchen Dojo was founded in February 2015 by a group of Metuchen, NJ residents with a strong interest in promoting programming knowledge in kids and teens.

Registration is required in advance for all events. Children 13 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent. A limited number of loaner laptops may be available – if your child has a laptop to bring, please do! See the FAQ for more info.
