Saturday, March 19th, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm at the Metuchen Public Library
We aren’t doing the usual coding event in March but we’re very excited to be joining in the Library’s Makers Day event on March 19th to launch our second year of CoderDojo Metuchen – part of New Jersey’s second annual NJ Makers Day!
Hope you can stop by – come chat with us, see all the other cool stuff happening at the Makery, etc., etc… 🙂
For those of you who have been around for a while, you will remember that NJ Makers Day 2015 was the event that kicked off CoderDojo Metuchen’s programs.
It’s been an amazing first year, and we continue to appreciate all the kids and parents who have come to our monthly Saturday events to learn about programming and to share coding projects with their friends.
Some of the programs you’ll be able to enjoy at the event:
- “Design Your Own T-shirt”
- “3D Design and printing”
- “Marble roller coaster”
- “WeDo”
- “Mindstorms EV3”
- “CoderDojo Metuchen” (that us!)
- “Storystarter”
- “Creative Engineering with LEGO/K’nex”
- “Computer / Equipment Autopsy”
- “Creative Art”
- “Paper Collage”
- “Painting demo / workshop”
Hope to see you there – we’ll be back in April for our regularly scheduled CoderDojo coding event!
